Roadshow without a deal
Article Abstract:
The Monetary Authority of Singapore is holding a roadshow in London, New York, Boston, and Tokyo to draw foreign investors to Singapore-dollar-denominated bonds, but does not have any special deals for investors. The government issued a 10-year bond in 1998, and will issue a 15-year bond in 2001. Singapore has tried to liberalize its capital markets since 1998 in order to attract investments.
