Alliance propels PowderJect stock

PowderJect Pharmaceuticals PLC saw its share value rise by 23% after it announced a $100 million research alliance with Ares-Serono SA, a drug manufacturer based in Switzerland. PowderJect, which is based in the UK, also announced its plans to raise an additional 52 million pound sterling ($84.6 million) to providing funding for another vaccine venture.
