Practices slam fee charges for entering competitions
Article Abstract:
Many architecture firms in the UK are being charged large sums by potential clients to enter competitions or even to gain a listing in registers of architects. It is now time for architects to fight back against this trend, which is often excused by clients as a quality assurance measure, according to some leading figures in the profession. They believe that large clients are abusing their power and that this trend goes against free competition.
