Russia is said to grant Norilsk Nickel long-term palladium export quota

RAO Norilsk Nickel has received a 10-year export quota for palladium from the government of Russia. Norilsk is the largest producer of palladium in the world. The quota is the first long-term export quota that the Russian government has ever granted. The government continues to maintain a strong hold on precious metals and stone exports as it attempts to control export revenues.
