Russia rebuffs E.U. on natural gas

Russia and the European Union are meeting at an economic summit in Sochi on the Black Sea to work out an energy policy. Hopes of the European Union were dashed when Russia said it would resist liberalization of its natural-gas conglomerate. The European Union is looking for alternative energy sources as Russia is perceived as being unreliable.
