SMAA - stochastic multiobjective acceptability analysis
Article Abstract:
Stochastic multiobjective acceptability analysis (SMAA) is a multicriteria decision support strategy used by multiple decision makers. SMAA, which is based on weight space exploration, determines the appropriate choice among various types of alternative through its acceptability index and confidence factor. Explicit or implicit expression of choice by decision makers is not required under SMAA.

Comparing multicriteria methods in the context of environmental problems
Article Abstract:
Three widely employed decision aids, ELECTRE III, PROMETHEE I, II, and SMART (Simple Multiattribute Rating Technique), were employed in the context of four distinct real applications to environmental problems in Finland. It was established that it is more feasible to utilize a number of methods for the same problem when possible, and when not, ELECTRE III is then recommended.
