Singapore Airlines to merge stock, buy back shares
Article Abstract:
Singapore Airlines announced that it is planning to combine its local and international shares as it attempts to repurchase as much as 10% of its shares. Analysts believe that the plan will probably increase the carrier's appeal when it comes to stocks. Singapore Airlines's shares would become more liquid if the plan pushes through. The shares would also put an end to the difference in price between the two share categories.
