Looking for a snack? Try the cotton fields
Article Abstract:
The glandless varieties of cotton are edible and protein rich, and useful in famine prone regions of Africa. A portion amounting to 40% of these plants is used by the textile industry, while the remaining 60% is rich in oleoproteaginous seeds, which have a high protein content. The cotton initially attracted pests, but pest control methods proved effective in controlling them. The cotton food has been fed to animals, but efforts to make it fit for human consumption have been made only since 1968.

Sir Alfred Ramsey
Article Abstract:
Sir Alfred Ramsey was a soccer manager who managed the England team in 1966 when the team won the World Cup. It has been claimed that he was the best manager ever, though sports writers tend to exaggerate. He managed the England team for 12 years and the team lost only 17 games of a total of 113. He saw winning as important and his teams were able to attack because they held a successful defense. The strength of the team in 1966 could be said to have been found in the manager.
