Italy's 1999 furniture event Milan Furniture Fair featured a range of furniture from top designers including Konstantin Gricic, Matthew Hilton, Michael Marriot, Ross Lovegrove and Daniel Weil. Environmentally-friendly furniture designs were featured by architects employed by Dutch firm Droog including chairs comprising recycled garden waste.

Some Versions of Light At the Telephone Repeater Station, Brompton-on-Swale, Richmond, North Yorkshire, until 22 June.The theme of exhibition is that it provides evidence to back-up Laszlo Moholy-Nagy's prophetic statement, which is reprinted in the exhibition catalogue but first appeared in the Architectural Forum in May 1939.

Milan furniture fair 2003
Article Abstract:
Milan's Salone, the furniture fair of 2003 attracted a record 1,400 exhibitors with 250 independent events taking place at every available space such as church, gallery or even roadside. Companies and individuals from several countries including Britain, Italy and France exhibited their designs at the fair.
