Some two-echelon supply-chain games: improving from deterministic-symmetric-information to stochastic-asymmetric-information models
Article Abstract:
In a two-layered supply chain, the manufacturer wholesales a product to retailer who in turn retails it to the consumer. The price of the product is determined in a deterministic method and the demand varies accordingly. The manufacturers and retailers determine the price and the batch size according to the Stackelberg game or a fixed mark up percentage game. A method of improving upon this gaming system is presented.
