Authorities in Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines are arresting suspects in terrorist plots who may be linked to a regional network of Muslim militants. The countries are sharing intelligence reports in support of the U.S. campaign against terrorism; however, the actions may anger Muslim citizens who do not back the U.S.

Sukardi to lead IBRA

President Megawati Sukarnoputri has selected Laksamana Sukardi to head the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency.
