Stockholm takes action to accommodate growth
Article Abstract:
Stockholm Arlanda, the biggest international airport in Sweden, does not see the opening of the Oresund bridge as a threat to its operations. The airport, which posted the best growth in the region by handling 17.1 million passengers in 1999, is confident of its strong position in Northern Europe. Stockholm Arlanda, which claims to have more than 60% of the traffic in the Baltic and Northern European regions, has even began its biggest expansion plan to date.
