Swissair, American discuss route link
Article Abstract:
Swissair confirmed that it is engaged in negotiations with American Airlines over linking their Europe-Chicago routes. Swissair said that the talks were "route specific" to service between Chicago and Zurich, as well as Brussels. However, Swissair's existing trans-Atlantic link with Delta Air Lines has raised some uncertainties. Many analysts believe that Swissair may move toward the "oneworld" alliance between British Airways and American.
