TD finds Her Money attractive

TD-Canada Trust has agreed to sponsor WTN's 'Her Money' program. TD-Canada Trust was looking for a vehicle to reach women who are greater seekers of information than men. It found that the show was very targeted for the audience it wanted to reach. The sponsorship, worth $300,000, involved the creation of 10 'Speaking of Money' vignettes that ran during 'Her Money' and at ther times on WTN. The other aspects of sponsorship were WTN Web site suppport for the show and the vignettes and a national on-air contest viewers.

Nike heads to the Olympics

Nike Canada turned to MuchMusic for its advertisement in the Summer Olympics in 2000. Using MuchMusic meant delivering a strong message toa young audience since music, sports and youth are a natural fit. Nike prepackaged a series of vignettes that offered low-key, lighthearted profiles of Cal Bouchard, Mark Boswell, Simon Whitfield and Steve Nash. The vignettes would run at least nine times each on MuchMusic from Sep 15 to 22, 2000 with a five-second billboard attached to each vignette.

Ericsson, Manifest team on aid
Article Abstract:
L.M. Ericsson Telefon AB tapped Toronto, Ontario-based Manifest Communications to create the Swedish telecommunications giant's Ericsson Response, a new program designed to help in global disaster relief efforts. Manifest Communications has also developed the global campaign to support the program. Print ads are already running in leading publications such as The New York Times and Foreign Affairs.
