TI Group plans to buy Walbro of U.S
Article Abstract:
TI Group PLC of the United Kingdom is planning to acquire Walbro Corp., based in Auburn Hills, MI. TI will pay will pay $20 for each Walbro share and assume the company's debt which was $338 million at the end of 1998. After the acquisition is completed, TI will create a new unit called TI Automotive Systems which will offer auto makers complete fuel systems.
