Article Abstract:
Intelligex Online in 2000 introduced a new business concept, called b2b TV, in Calgary, Canada. Aimed at small and medium-size companies, the new entity combines new media and old using television and the Internet to offer business data and intelligence. Vancouver-based b2b plans to expand to other large markets in fall 2001. Sponsors of the pilot shows include Burnaby-based Telus and Calgary-based CP Rail. Currently, b2b Pres Bill Kurchak, is negotiating with a number of sponsors, such as IBM Canada, Bank of Montreal and ING Direct.
