Technology changes put authentic replication beyond our grasp
Article Abstract:
Architects must ensure as much authenticity as possible with any projects designed to build a replica building or test the theory of previous building and design methods, although there will alway be various aspects of a replication which can not, and should not, be repeated. New technologies will make it impossible to replicate a building and building techniques exactly therefore a degree of realism should allow the architect to design with modern understanding in mind.
