Approval of Telecom Italia SpA's planned 30 billion euros Internet merger with Seat Pagine Gialle SpA has been postponed. The deal has been postponed due to regulatory concerns on the acquisition of all of Seat PG's shares after the deal.

Telecom Italia SpA acquired Seat Pagine Gialle SpA, an Italian yellow-pages publisher and Web Portal owner, at 4.20 euros for each Seat PG common share. At the same time, Telecom Italia will merge the company with its online service unit, Tin.it.
