Telefonica to float unit

Telefonica S.A. plans to go public with Telefonica Moviles S.A., its fully owned mobile telephone unit, in November. This could be the first in a series of new telecommunications flotations this year in Europe. The firm plans to float between 10% and 15% of the unit, in a deal that would value it anywhere from between Euro61 billion and E78 billion.
