Telewest to buy NTL's 50% stake in Cable London for 647.7 million euros
Article Abstract:
NTL Inc. announced that it has reached an agreement to sell off its 50% share in Cable London PLC to Telewest Communications PLC. NTL will sell the share for approximately 428 million pound sterling (647.7 million euros) in cash. Cable London is owned equally by both Telewest and NTL. Telewest said it is acquiring NTL's share in Cable London because it believes London is a major new digital market services marketplace.
