Tempo Scan holds promise
Article Abstract:
The stocks of Indonesian pharmaceutical firm PT Tempo Scan Pacific are still attractive despite the condition of the Indonesian economy. Some of its analgesic products have a third of the market while its multivitamins have about 40% of the over-the-counter market. Pharmaceutical sales have fallen and the prices of imported raw materials continue to increase. However, consumers are looking for the cheapest products and the firm will continue to be profitable as long as it is capable to provide for its market sectors.
