Thaksin's policies go south
Article Abstract:
Thailand's Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra failed to handle appropriately the political violence related to the country's Muslims in south. The repercussions of this mishandling on the political and security aspects of the country are discussed. Thailand's actions have also incited the Muslim nations in Southeast Asia and soured its relationship with its neighbor, Malaysia. It is imperative that Thaksin should evolve policies to resolve the situation in the country.
