Article Abstract:

Time to buy?
Article Abstract:
Emerging markets have performed poorly since 1994 and have subsequently been hit by the Asian economic crisis and debt default of Russia. There are some investment opportunities in emerging markets as economies in Asia start to recover. Interest rates are dropping in developed economies, and stocks may appear cheap in some emerging economies. Investors should be selective. A drop in US stock prices could also affect emerging market stocks.
