The company, whose main products are the Calgonit range of automatic dishwashing products and the Calgon limescale protector for washing machines, is now focusing on a process of organic growth with a regard towards expanding existing market positions, formulating an international strategy and restructuring major subsidiaries. Household cleaning agents and textile washing detergents increased their share of the company's turnover from 52% to 56.4% to 1997, with sales of DM2.697 trillion.
