The RTPI's education commission: context and challenges

The recommendations of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)'s Education Commission in their review of planning education during 2001-2002 are outlined. The societal changes described which are global and national, in communications and employment with changes in planning education, its priorities and modes of delivery are examined.
