The bilevel linear/linear fractional programming problem
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to analyze the bilevel linear/linear fractional programming problem. The objective function of the first level was linear while that of the second level was linear fraction. The feasible region was a polyhedron. An algorithm was proposed to determine a global optimum to the problem in a finite number of stages. Results determined an optimal solution that is an extreme point of the polyhedron.

A note on 'bilevel linear fractional programming problem'
Article Abstract:
Bilevel programming involves two optimization problems where the constraint region of the first level problem is implicitly determined by another optimization problem. Several proofs, which were incorrect in the previous Thirwani and Arora paper, were corrected and alternative proofs were provided.
