Article Abstract:
The Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) figures in Beijing indicate that the occurrence of new suspected cases of SARS has fallen from a high of 160 persons in April to less than 40 in May. The new probable SARS cases has fallen from 140 in April to almost 40 in May. The cases of new deaths has been low at less than 20 people in May. The number of new releases from hospitals has increased from less than 20 in April to 40 in May.
