The visible man: the digital images of two dead people are beginning to help the living

The Visible Human Project is a process in which images of a male and female cadavers were scanned and stored electronically, providing digitized anatomical information of the entire body, layer by layer. These images help doctors perform diagnoses and medical students learn without actual corpses.

Burkina Faso is one of the world's poorest countries, yet it has some fine restaurants in its capital city of Ouagadougou. One of these is run by the Catholic Church lay missionary order Donum Dei, which also runs restaurants at some of its other missions.
