Thyssenkrupp raises bid for Dofasco
Article Abstract:
The bidding war for Dofasco Inc. of Canada has been sweetened by ThyssenKrupp AG of Germany with an offer of 3.8 billion Euros (approximately $4.6 billion). The share bid offer was $68 Canadian Dollars ($58.62 United States Dollars). The challenge bid is in response to rival Arcelor S.A. of Luxembourg.
