Touch entry technology update
Article Abstract:
Austria-based Frequentis' new generation touch entry device includes an electronic processor board featuring a 32 bit RISC-processor to propel the touch panel. The equipment boasts of a low energy consumption, auto-calibration to prevent parallax failures, sunlight readability and a less than 50 ms in page switching time. According to Frequentis, sunlight readability is among the most difficult properties as liquid crystal displays makers were hesitant to design equipment intended for the niche air traffic control market.
