Trade negotiations fail to advance
Article Abstract:
The European Union is in international trade negotiations to open markets and lower barriers to trade. The talks are currently deadlocked but with the goal of lowering agricultural tariffs and increasing trade in manufacturing goods and services without barriers. It is forecast that it will take well into next year to work out the details.

The U.S. and E.U. bid to end trade talks on upbeat note
Article Abstract:
The European Union, United States and developing countries are in trade negotiations to reduce trade barriers. The talks aim to cut tariffs on services, industrial goods and farm products and there has been particular controversy over agricultural product taxation. The global trade talks are being held in Hong Kong.
