Travel consultant Mark Gordon had long eschewed cellular telephones but he decided to get one when he resigned his job and set up his own business. Like many independent business executives, Gordon quickly realized the enormous advantages of mobile telecommunications technology. Cellular service is not exactly cheap but Gordon believes that the flexibility it provides is well worth the price.
