Try the Khmer Rouges
Article Abstract:
Two Cambodian Khmer Rouge leaders, former head of state, Khieu Samphan and Nuon Chea, close to Pol Pot, argue that the past should be forgotten, but they should be brought to trial. Cambodian leader, Hun Sen also argued that the past should be buried, but then argued that he had not ruled out the possibility of a trial, when faced with domestic and international criticism. Cambodia has been deeply affected by its past and lack of a trial would prevent a return to normality. There is a need for an international court to deal with such cases.
