China oil issues show the possible risks of easy capital

China Petroleum & Chemical and PetroChina are two Chinese oil companies that have listed large offerings of their stock. Major concerns are that both companies have large funds following their offerings overseas last year, which promised to cut labor forces and costs, and the invesments come at a time when global prices on oil are falling, leaving the possibility that the companies should focus on cost-cutting instead, if future profits slide.
