Article Abstract:
Turbomeca SA and AVIC II China have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on re-engining projects for future helicopters. The new re- engining projects is reported to focus on installation of the more powerful Arriel 2 in teh Z-9 airframe, particularly those aircraft operated in the antitank and similar roles. In Aug 2000, the first Arriel 2s are scheduled to be delivered for a first flight in China during October. AVIC will start supplying engines for a production upgrade in 2001.

Article Abstract:
Bond Air Services is moving its headquarters from Aberdeen to Staverton Airport in Gloucester, UK. The company has spent several months since its formation trying to find a more central location to its national operations. The company is planning to build purpose-built offices at the airport for up to 35 staff, with engineering facilities alongside and hangarage for three to four helicopters. The building will include space for the finance, sales and administration departments.
