Turnover rates in Hong Kong may begin to level off
Article Abstract:
Hong Kong turnover rates, which were high last year, will likely level off as a result of the fading Internet start-up craze, a softening in the job market, and the corporate restructuring policies that will focus on employees' needs. Southeast Asian banking group DBS Group Holdings Ltd. has named Philippe Paillart as vice chairman and chief executive officer, Jackson Tai as chief operating officer and president, Ng Kee Choe as vice chairman of its subsidiary, Development Bank of Singapore Ltd., and Kie Cheong as financial director.
