UK: CONFIDENCE IN FINANCIAL SERVICES FALLS
Article Abstract:
Confidence in the financial services sector has fallen to a rating of -22 in March 2001, from +2 in December 2000, according to a CBI and PricewaterhouseCoopers survey. Employment is expected to be affected in the second quarter of 2000 as cost cutting moves have failed to boost the bottom line. Insurance brokers, general insurers and finance houses have reported healthy growth, however, fund managers and securities traders have suffered.
