U.K. jobs data seen lifting odds of rate rise

The UK's Office for National Statistics reports that unemployment benefit claims have fallen again, marking 11 out of the past 12 months that they have done so. The number of claims dropped by 13,800 to reach 877,900. Earnings growth however, remains subdued, with a rise of only 3.5% compared with 4.1% for the first quarter.

Royal & Sun announces rights issue
