The report also looks at the flip side of the influence of channel YTV, stating that children get more aware about their health through the related promotional campaigns and commercials advertised.

Leafs TV has joined Canada's group of digital television channels. Leafs TV, which covers the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team, started in 2001. However, its development was slowed down due to the lockout in the NHL from 2004-2005. In September 2007, Leafs TV and Raptors TV were added by Rogers Cable to its VIP digital cable package.
