Up for grabs: Israeli banks

The Israeli government is trying to raise cash by selling off its majority interests in several of the nation's banks, including United Mizrahi Bank. Four bids have been received for United Mizrahi, but the government has not found willing buyers for other banks it hopes to privatize.
