The dependability of a merger simulation model depends on the dependability of the information used and the assumptions advanced. Various tests that can be employed to measure the dependability of merger simulation models are presented and discussed.

An equilibrium approach to international merger policy

It is shown that international merger policy is a replicated prohibition game. The presence of a singular efficient equilibrium in a specific class of trigger strategy equilibria is also established.
