Fiscal second-quarter net profit for Singapore Exchange Ltd. rose by 44% to reach $109.4 mil, buoyed by new listing increases and high trading volumes. Revenue increased 63%, while securities market revenue rose 90%. SGX had 44 new listings, up from 28 from the prior year.

Fiscal first-half net profit for UK interdealer broker ICAP PLC rose 38% to $214 mil, driven by an increase in revenue in electronic-broking. Profit before impairment, amortization, and tax increased 34%, but was negatively impacted by a weaker dollar.
