Volcano reveals a murky Indonesia
Article Abstract:
A wildcat well drilling by Lapindo Brantas started a mudflow in Porong that has resulted a in the loss of the peoples' housing, land and livelihood. However, the country's problems do not only involve natural disaster but also includes its corporate sector which disregard governance and reputational risk. An analogy of Indonesia's mudflow crisis and its business community is given.
