Will Alsop: Short-termism set to destroy great chance for regeneration
Article Abstract:
The UK government seems not to have a great deal of enthusiasm about hosting the 2012 Olympics. By not vigorously pursuing the Olympics, the government may miss an opportunity to regenerate various areas in England. The government appears to be interested in seeking out projects by architects and others that can bring advantages in the short term.

UK students today often must remain home because of the high cost of education. Programs such as apprenticeships for students, enabling them to be more independent, are recommended. The feeling is that separation would eventually lead to a higher degree of entrepreneurship.
