Wooing California
Article Abstract:
The California primary of Mar 2000 will attract more attention than usual, since the date has been brought forward and the way the primary works has been altered. Democrat, Al Gore, and Republican, George W Bush, look set to perform well in California, though the campaign could erode Gore's funds, and Bush may be seen as too conservative on some issues such as environmentalism. Voters can choose whatever the party they have registered for and the outcome cannot be predicted.
