Yen could drag down the rest of the global markets
Article Abstract:
The US Federal Reserve's decision to intervene to support the yen lacks good judgment since the solution will only be short-term. Bolstering the yen artificially is not the solution to salvaging Asia from its financial woes. The more fragile the yen becomes, the larger the dollar-asset exposure of the most successful Japanese banks becomes in connection with their capital.
