Yukos warns new court order 'paralyzes' firm

Russian petroleum company OAO Yukos said that it may soon be forced to suspend operations, as more of its bank accounts are frozen by a court order. The State Tax Service, however, asserted that the company would still be able to make key payments.

Yukos holders pursue claim versus Russia

Group Menatep Ltd. the major shareholder in OAO NK Yukos has filed a $28.3 billion damages suit against the Russian authorities, claiming for the illegal dissolution of the oil company. The case was filed under the European Energy Charter Treaty.
