Everex Systems Inc announced $35 million losses for its 1992 fiscal 4th qtr and laid off 500 of its 2,700 employees. The computer systems and peripherals manufacturer made high quality products since its foundation in 1983. It progressed because of its technical expertise. However, the company started losing profits in the fiscal year ended Jul 31, 1991. The decline was attributed to poor marketing strategies.
