The great British debate over the hazardous fixed odds betting terminals (FOBTs) is not so dangerous as the British Government felt that legislation would mean that extra tax revenue could be generated by these new machines. In exchange, the Association of British Bookmakers had to agree to limit the total number of machines per betting office.
