A regional accent
Article Abstract:
The market for management buyouts in the United Kingdom varies according to whether one takes a regional or a national view. Smaller deals have tended to take place at regional level, and larger deals at national level, but regional offices are increasingly handling medium-sized deals. There are key centers in Scotland, and central and northern England which are well placed to compete. There has been speculation about the impact of an economic slowdown in the UK on the sector. Transactions are likely to continue despite a slowdown for a number of reasons.
